A medium weight for a large working pan of this size.  Recent relining by hand brought it to very good condition; a chip of the handle’s grommit is missing, with no impact to its stability.  The pan extends 22″ with handle.  Embossed initials represent the original owner’s household.

We love antique copper pans and use them exclusively in our home. Copper conducts heat quickly and evenly with no hot spots on the bottom of the pan, allowing for greater control because the pans heat up faster, then cool down faster when taken from the heat. Copper pots are the prize of a chef’s kitchen.

The content of copper in antique copper ware is far greater than that of contemporary copper ware.
