Regency Stool with Bamboo Gilded Base

A lovely Regency foot stool on gilded faux bamboo base, reminiscent of the Chinese Chippendale style.
The base is made of four splayed legs connected to one another with a cross stretchers. The gilding is all original.
The stool has been reupholstered recently, to the highest standard as would have been originally, in 1815.
All excellent condition.
