Small Primitive Copper Jug

Date/Circa: 1890Origin: England Catalog No: A0826
Height: 5"Diameter: 6"

A small rustic hand hammered jug.  Because of the dovetailed join around the belly of the jug, which is extremely rare, and the shape, it is most likely this was a piece from a blacksmith in a small rural town instead of a manufactured piece by a copper smith or metal worker.

The size is perfect for milk on the breakfast table or for lovely flower arrangements!
